Health and beauty aid options
I’m not creating food based products but use this app to create recipes for future beauty products. It basically works the same way. It would be nice to have something geared more toward that. Thank you.

Currently, while selecting ingredients to place an order, the listed ingredients are sorted alphabetically.
Add a new section at the top that lists ingredients that are frequently ordered.

count in a weight or volume
I think it would be good to add a count per weight or volume so that for example if i have a 2kg box of pears i could imput the number of pears per that weight or volume and so i could use a half pear as part of a recipe. or a #10 can of artichoke hearts, this way i could imput how many hearts of artichoke i get from that volume and thus make the price divisible by count!
i also think its important to add yield on menu items!1 vote -
Produce a shopping list given a set of recipes and number of servings
Suppose I intend to serve x servings of recipe A and y servings of recipe B. Recipe A shares some ingredients with recipe B. I'd like the software to add up the ingredients needed in all recipes, scaling by the number of servings, and then produce a shopping list.

Calculate "Recipe Yield" automatically
Present "Recipe Yield" automatically after entering a recipe...
Its a long shot, but having the program automatically calculate the Mass or Volume of a particular recipe would be amazing. i.e 1 x Batch of Chicken Salad weights 12 lbs. & a 1x Batch of Alfredo Sauce equals 1.5 gallons. This would be handy in accurately determining Food Cost.2 votesThis is now testable on the website by calculating mass and volume for each recipe whenever possible.

Labor costs
Labor costs
11 votesThis feature is now available for testing on the website (https://dashboard.getfillet.com).
The cost of labor is a part of the total cost of every recipe and menu item. Labor cost can include activities such as shopping, prepping, washing, frying, and serving.
Add one or more activities to a recipe or a menu item (coming soon!) to see its total labor cost as well as the percent of its total cost that comes from labor.
Please send us your feedback, thoughts, and ideas on this feature. We would love to hear from you! Thanks!

Ingredients price per base unit
It's great that the program automatically use the cheapest but it would be nice to the unit cost in the ingredient list. Example let's say I can ingredient A at $30/10oz or $16/4oz. It would be great if next to the ingredient it would say: $3/oz and $4/oz respectively.

Dynamic Inventory
Show how much of each menu item can be made using what is currently in the inventory and highlight what needs to be bought. Also, be able to tell the app that you have made a menu item and it automatically deduct those ingredients from your inventory.

Price per kilo or cup
Will be nice to have next to the price of ingredients a function that tell you the price per kilo or cup.
I might buy something that come in a 2.5 kg package to a supplier and buy the same item to another supplier but it come in 1.750 kg so it will be easier to see which one is cheaper1 vote
